It has been too long since I wrote a Post. I have missed blogging. During the time I was away I learned that no matter how far I strayed away from my passion, I always find my way back. It is difficult to walk away from something you love as much as it is to walk away from someone you love.
I have learned many new skills, of which I will be sharing as I continue on with my Blogging. Many of the skills I have learned are practical survival skills; that include, camping, gardening, sewing, knitting and dehydrating, to name a few. Academia had been put on the back burner, but there are no regrets. I am overwhelmed by the blessings life brings when one surrenders to one's calling/purpose.
In addition I have planned Women’s Retreats and held seminars and workshops as teaching classes. My life is very colorful with all the things I do and enjoy. I find that when I immerse myself in the things that I am passionate about, there is no time for idle negative thinking. I have learned to cherish every moment and use my time wisely. We do not get back the time we waste. I often remember DR. Benjamin E. May's small but powerful poem regarding time:
"I have only just a minute,
Only sixty seconds in it.
Forced upon me, can’t
refuse it.
Didn’t seek it, didn’t
choose it.
But it’s up to me
to use it.
I must suffer if I lose
it.
Give account if I abuse
it.
Just a tiny little minute,
but eternity is in it.
I have positioned myself to make some changes in my life. I like the challenge of change! Change brings about transformation and transformation for me is the cycle of life. Transformation comes when one embraces change. A person never has to feel stuck and remain in one place. There is always an opportunity to make a change. Fear prevents people from embracing changing, so being cognizant of this helps us to face fear and not allow it cripple us.
My newest venture and challenge is helping as many people as possible to get discount plans for their health and dental care. I do a lot of postings on Facebook, so go ahead and check out my Facebook page and leave a comment. https://www.facebook.com/askpaulinelewinson?ref=hlto.
Until next time, go take the change challenge!
